Te Tauihu Taonga Tūturu Trust Working Group

Te Rūnanga o Toa Rangatira invites expressions of interest from Ngāti Toa iwi members to represent the iwi on the Te Tauihu Taonga Tūturu Trust Working Group.

The Working Group brings together representatives from the eight iwi of Te Tauihu to develop a collaborative, tikanga-led approach to the care and management of taonga tūturu under the Protected Objects Act 1975.

We are seeking someone with:

  • A strong understanding of Ngāti Toa tikanga, history, and cultural values.

  • An interest in taonga tūturu, cultural heritage, and mātauranga Māori.

  • The ability to represent the views and interests of Ngāti Toa.

  • Experience working collaboratively across iwi and governance settings.

  • Availability to attend Working Group hui and wānanga.

The position is not remunerated.
