Te Āhuru Mōwai, our registered Community Housing Provider, delivers quality, culturally grounded social housing for our people. Through Te Āhuru Mōwai, we ensure that whānau who need housing most have safe, secure homes — and access to the wraparound support that helps them thrive.

Property
Our property portfolio represents the growth and strength of Ngāti Toa Rangatira — built on the legacy of our tīpuna and guided by the vision of a thriving future for our people.
Through the Ngāti Toa Rangatira Treaty Settlement, we regained ownership of significant properties that hold deep cultural, historical, and economic importance to our iwi. These assets form a vital foundation for our long-term sustainability and mana motuhake.
Alongside our settlement assets, we continue to strategically acquire and develop new properties that enhance our portfolio and create ongoing benefits for Ngāti Toa. Our investments span commercial, residential, and community spaces — each chosen for its potential to generate returns, provide opportunities for whānau, and strengthen our presence across Te Whanganui-a-Tara and Te Tauihu.

Toa Developments
In March of 2022, Te Rūnanga o Toa Rangatira established its own in-house Development Management entity, Toa Developments Limited.
This small, but experienced team is responsible for the portfolio of residential and commercial property developments across the Ngāti Toa rohe, from strategy through to delivery.
