The Systems Teams Administrator for Learning and Development sits within a dedicated team of HR professionals who care deeply about the people they serve. The team is known for being hard‑working and thorough, and for providing trusted, practical support that helps the organisation function well. Our focus is on getting the fundamentals right, offering sound advice, and supporting kaimahi and leaders in a way that is people‑centred, supports kaimahi to thrive, and focused on practical, everyday support across the organisation.
Learning and Development is a relatively new function within the team. As we are just acquiring a Learming Management System, this is a newly created position.

The 0.5 FTE (20 hours per week) Systems Administrator is responsible for ….
The effective day‑to‑day administration of the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring it is easy to use, reliable, and fit for purpose.
Providing timely, mana‑enhancing support to all users and content developers, including onboarding to the system, troubleshooting, and user guidance.
Maintaining accurate learning records, course data, and a well‑organised digital learning library where finding resources is easy.
Developing clear, user-friendly guides and resources that help people confidently use the LMS and other organisational systems.
Working closely with others, contributing technical system knowledge to shape how the LMS is further configures for increased functionality and system improvements.

Providing day-to-day administration and support for systems, including troubleshooting and user guidance.
Maintaining accurate data and producing timely, meaningful reports.
Organising resources in a logical manner that works effectively with system search functions.
Creating clear, easy-to-follow learning resources that support staff to confidently use organisational systems.
Providing customer service and support and sharing technical system information.
