Remuneration and Appointments Committee, Te Rūnanga o Toa Rangatira

Te Rūnanga o Toa Rangatira is committed to running a transparent and fair process to identify and recommend suitably skilled iwi members to represent Ngāti Toa on boards, committees, and other governance and advisory bodies where the Rūnanga is invited to nominate a representative.

The Remuneration and Appointments Committee, a sub‑committee of the Rūnanga Board, has been established to oversee this nominations process. The Committee ensures alignment with Ngāti Toa kaupapa and tikanga and provides recommendations to the Rūnanga Board.

Te Rūnanga o Toa Rangatira is seeking expressions of interest from iwi members to be appointed as an independent (non‑Board) Ngāti Toa representative on the Remuneration and Appointments Committee. The position is remunerated.
