Design and deliver engaging digital learning while supporting rangatahi and kaimahi capability in a Kaupapa-driven iwi organisation.

Your high-level digital learning experience and professional expertise are a given, and you are motivated by the role digital technologies can play in transforming education. You understand how to apply this in meaningful contexts, while staying connected to global opportunities.
You will have experience in:
• developing blended learning solutions including workshops, facilitator guides, digital learning resources, and supporting materials.
• working with subject matter experts and stakeholders to translate complex information into engaging learning content.
• strong written communication, facilitation, and content development skills.
• building positive working relationships and collaborating across teams.
Ko te tūranga mahi | About the role
As the Digital Learning Lead, you will design, develop, and implement high-quality learning programmes that build the capability of both kaimahi and ākonga at Kura Toa. This is a key role in establishing a new kura, contributing to both the initial set-up and the ongoing teaching and development of digital technologies.
Working alongside kaiako, curriculum leads, and the wider team, you will ensure learning is engaging, culturally grounded, and aligned to curriculum outcomes and organisational priorities. You will also provide practical, on-the-ground support to rangatahi, helping embed digital learning in everyday teaching and learning environments, and contributing to the growth and success of our ākonga and their communities.
You will:
• Design and deliver engaging learning experiences for ākonga
• Work alongside kaiako, curriculum leads, and wider teams to integrate digital approaches
• Embed kaupapa Māori and organisational values into learning design and delivery
• Support capability development across the kura in digital teaching and learning
• Evaluate and continuously improve learning programmes and digital practices
