We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated Disability Care Workers to support individuals living with disabilities to lead independent, fulfilling, and empowered lives. This role involves providing person-centred care and practical assistance tailored to each participant’s goals and support needs.

As a Disability Care Worker, you will play a vital role in promoting dignity, inclusion, and wellbeing while helping participants engage in their community and daily activities.

Ko te tūranga mahi | About the role

The disability support worker is responsible for ….

• Providing personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting)

• Assist with daily living tasks including meal preparation, household duties, and medication prompts

• Support participants in social, recreational, and community activities

• Implement individual support plans and behavioural support strategies

• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes

• Build positive, respectful relationships with participants and their families

• Ensure a safe environment in line with workplace health and safety requirements
