About Te Rūnanga o Toa Rangatira
Te Rūnanga o Toa Rangatira is the mandated iwi authority for Ngāti Toa Rangatira.
Through their Pou Whakamana programme, they are creating pathways for whānau to build wealth, for whānau-owned businesses to grow, and for people to access services that enhance their mauri ora.
Pou Whakamana represents a step-change in iwi-led economic development — redesigning how prosperity flows to whānau through values-led procurement, financial empowerment, and business support.
This programme is funded, supported, and moving at pace — creating a lasting framework for intergenerational prosperity and self-determination.

We are seeking a passionate, skilled individual to help deliver this kaupapa:
Advisor – Iwi Business Services (#120)
An early-career opportunity for someone organised, curious, and eager to grow.
You’ll be the coordination backbone of the Pou Whakamana team — managing project milestones, supporting wānanga and reporting, and engaging with whānau, partners, and stakeholders.
Working in a tuakana–teina structure, you’ll receive mentoring and development to grow your capability in project management, procurement, and kaupapa Māori approaches while contributing to meaningful, high-impact mahi.
