We’re paddling our own waka forward, leading significant change to enhance the mana, wellbeing, and prosperity of Ngāti Toa and the communities in which we thrive.

Ko te tūranga mahi | About the role

The Management Accountant plays a key role in supporting the Finance Business Partner and wider team by delivering accurate month-end processing, reporting, and analysis. This role ensures timely and reliable financial information is available to support decision-making, while also building your capability in financial analysis and business partnering.

In this role, you’ll:

·       Prepare month-end journals, reconciliations, reporting, and commentary.

·       Support the Finance Business Partners with reporting and budgeting.

·       Provide financial analysis and modelling as required.

Ko ngā wheako ōu | About you

You’ll bring a strong foundation in Financial or Management Accounting (around 2-3 years’ experience) and be keen to develop your career in a supportive and well established team. You’ll be confident with financial systems and processes, and just as importantly, enjoy building relationships across the organisation.

But what really sets you apart is your passion for the work, and for people. The Rūnanga is a diverse and inclusive organisation, positioned to understand and serve our communities — so you’ll be ready to give your best in service of others, in areas that truly matter.
