Calling for volunteers to join the final planting day for 2025! The work done so far this year has been amazing, and we are hoping for another beautiful day and another enthusiastic bunch of volunteers to get another ~1,200 plants in the ground.
Saturday 6th September 2025, from 12pm to Join us from noon at Motukaraka Point.
Wear weather appropriate clothing - including sunscreen. All equipment (and snacks) provided. We end the session with a sausage sizzle (thanks to Bunnings) and it is lovely seeing people hanging around for a chat.
Your mahi makes a difference - sedimentation is a real problem for the inlet and planting the edges helps to reduce this. The inlet is a precious resource for us and future generations - we love having your support to protect its wellbeing.
