Te Wai o te Taiao are excited to announce three Kāpiti based activations. The first event is The Edgewood Park Community Planting Day on Monday 15th September from 10am to 3pm at Edgewater Park, Fleetwood Park, Waikanae.

Following the recent removal of large poplar trees that posed a safety risk to river walkers, Greater Wellington, alongside Parikawau Restoration Group, Te Ātiawa ki Whakarongotai, Friends of the Waikanae River, and Kāpiti Coast District Council is leading a re-vegetation effort to replant the area with 2,000 locally sourced native trees.
