Ko te turanga mahi | About the role
The Resource Management Advisor position will play a key role in managing ongoing participation in resource management and planning activities for Ngāti Toa Rangatira.  You will be proactively finding opportunities and will oversee the delivery of kaupapa that we exercise as Kaitiaki.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Receiving, managing, and coordinating complex resource consents (RMA),

  • Engaging with internal & external stakeholders,

  • Promoting the overall sustainability of the environment and wellbeing for our whānau,

  • Coordinating with the Senior Resource Management Advisor,

  • Supporting the wider team.

After hearing about us your high-level experience and professional expertise in resource management and planning is a given.  You will be able to quickly learn and advocate for the preservation and protection of our traditional relationships with the environment, including the protection of wāhi tapu and other taonga.  This is an exciting role, where forging partnerships is key to our mahi.

Your experience:

  • Experience in Resource Management (RMA)

  • Strong technical writing skills,

  • Strong and proven communication skills,

  • Experience in consent management is desirable.
