Ko te tūranga mahi | About the role

Full Time, Permanent Role

The Kaiwhakapumau role is responsible for supporting with the day-to-day management of the supported accommodation service for tāne, who have come into our care for whakawhanaungatanga support to be able to re-establish their whakapapa links with their whānau.

The mahi we do involves:

  • A mix of Day or Overnight shifts, at the whare

  • Weekend rostering

  • Providing Internal/external activities and excursions

  • Positive learning experiences for tāne.

  • Supporting individuals in developing skills that increase their independence.
