Declaration of Result for the Special Resolution For Constitution Voting
The following is the final result of the Special Resolution held by online, postal, and in-person voting, which closed at the AGM on Friday, 8 December 2023.
As this was a special resolution a 75% threshold was required for the resolution to be carried.
Special Resolution: That the Rūnanga Rules be amended, as set out in the accompanying explanatory document, to ensure consistency with new legislation.
AGREE: 802 87.65%
DISAGREE: 113 12.35%
The resolution received 87.65% support. As more than 75% of those voting on the resolution voted AGREE, it was declared that the resolution be carried. A total of 915 electors voted in the election. There were no invalid or blank votes. 71.69% of electors voted online. 69 Electors voted at the AGM.

The voter return was 18.38%, being 1,364 votes cast. Of which 71.55% voted online and 28.45% voted by post or at either wāhi pōti.
