Te Hoe Ākau is an Iwi-led Career Development Centre supporting whānau to achieve Mauri Ora through education, employment, or further training.

Supporting our tamariki, rangatahi, and whānau in their employment journey is a vehicle for enabling the development of our future leaders and a key priority for Te Rūnanga o Toa Rangatira. Te Hoe Ākau captures whānau 15+yrs providing work-ready, career development, and home ownership programmes, with a focus on providing opportunities for whānau to access resources that will enable successful outcomes.

  • Our iwi-led work readiness programme is for whānau looking to start employment. We support you on this journey through work readiness workshops, skills building, and professional development plans.​​

    • Organise industry-specific training (e.g Site Safe, First Aid)
